Congratulations, Wes!!!

My cousin Wes graduated from Dracut High this summer and is now attending UMASS Amherst. We are all so proud of him and I was so happy to be able to make his graduation cake. My aunt and I came up with a 'staircase' theme and around the top of the cake, I wrote: "Good Luck on Your Next Steps!"

Congratulations, Idiot (Napoleon Dynamite quote- Wes is actually quite brilliant!)

Love those dimples!

Girly Graduation Cake 101

Congrats to Renee on graduating from BU! I was happy to make this cake for her! The second picture shows what happens when my sister comes over to help with cakes- the cake making sessions turn into modeling shoots! Ha, ha, ha!

Top of Their Class...and School!

This cake was ordered for my cousin and her class for their 8th Grade graduation. They come from a very small school with only 8 students in her grade! The moms wanted a replica of the school along with each student and something that represented them. This was definitely a challenge for me since each figure can take at least 1 hour!
Congratulations, Elizabeth- we're so proud of you!!!
The details can be seen in the following pictures:

A Big Celebration!

These cakes and cupcakes were made for a family celebration.
We celebrated my uncle's 50th and my cousin's High School graduation.
I made cupcakes in the colors of his middle school and high school colors and had the final cake- the Holy Cross cake on an upper tier.
This cupcake stand can be rented from me- just ask!

Carpe Diem

Hand cut and painted Holy Cross Mascot.
Everything is edible!
"Carpe Diem Bobby" was printed in a "varsity" font around the cake.

A Colorful Graduation Cake

This double tiered cake was made for a grad whose favorite colors are
red, blue, green, yellow, orange and purple!

Close-up of the grad cap and fondant "09":
The "09" was hand-painted with edible shimmer dust.
